EMC TV Hits Edo In Eko 3.0 Red Carpet as Ajebo, Acapella, MC DaSaint, Mr Paul Join Lagos Entertainment Showcase
Lagos, Nigeria — September 20, 2026 — Comedy, culture and entertainment came together in Lagos on Sunday as Nigerian comedian MC Edo Pikin returned with the third edition of his flagship Edo In Eko entertainment show.

The 2026 edition, billed as Edo In Eko 3.0, took place at Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, continuing an entertainment platform that has grown around the fusion of Edo heritage, comedy, music and Lagos’ vibrant entertainment culture. Current event listings scheduled the programme for September 20, with activities beginning from 6 p.m.
EMC TV, the broadcast and entertainment platform of Ezisi Media Consult, was on the red carpet, capturing some of the personalities arriving for the show and speaking with entertainers about the night.
Among those who spoke with EMC TV host Abisola Deborah on the red carpet were Ajebo the Comedian, MC DaSaint, Mr Paul and Acapella.
Ajebo joins the red-carpet conversation

Ajebo, whose name is Emeka Erem, is a comedian, storyteller and the creative force behind House of Ajebo and its popular animated comedy content. Earlier in 2026, he staged the 13th edition of Ajebo Unleashed at the same Eko Hotel & Suites venue.
His appearance at Edo In Eko added another familiar name from Nigeria’s comedy circuit to the event, with EMC TV catching up with him during the red-carpet activities.
Acapella and MC DaSaint return to the Edo In Eko connection
Acapella and MC DaSaint also spoke with EMC TV during the event.

Both entertainers have an established connection with the Edo In Eko platform. They were among the comedy acts announced for the inaugural 2024 edition, while DaSaint was also reported among the performers at the second edition in 2025.

Their presence at the 2026 event therefore reflected the continuity of entertainers who have been part of the show’s growth.
Mr Paul speaks with EMC TV
Veteran comedian Mr Paul, whose name is Paul Olope, was another personality interviewed by EMC TV on the red carpet.

Mr Paul has built a lengthy career in Nigerian comedy and is also associated with his Mr Paul On The Mic comedy platform. BusinessDay has previously profiled his work and efforts to use the platform to showcase comedy talent.
His conversation with Abisola Deborah formed part of EMC TV’s special coverage of the personalities attending Edo In Eko 3.0.
Edo culture meets Lagos entertainment
Edo In Eko was originally conceived as more than a conventional comedy concert.
Ahead of the first edition in 2024, MC Edo Pikin explained that the concept was intended to promote cultural integration between Edo and Lagos talents while showcasing Edo culture and creating opportunities for emerging entertainers.
The event returned for a second edition in 2025, when reports described a programme combining comedy, music and culture at Eko Hotel & Suites.
The September 20 event marked its third consecutive edition.
For EMC TV, the red carpet provided an opportunity to take viewers beyond the stage performances and into conversations with some of the personalities participating in the entertainment experience.
Individual EMC TV interviews with Ajebo, MC DaSaint, Mr Paul and Acapella will also give audiences a closer look at the personalities behind the comedy.
